After two decades specializing in the new and re-sale market along the Costa Calida, Costa Blanca South and Costa Blanca North regions, Jonathan has become one of the most successful real estate agents in the community. Jonathan’s clientele consist of second home buyers, relocation buyers and investment buyers. Jonathan has sold over 10 million Euros worth of real estate and offers over 100 million Euros in active listings.

Since early in his career Jonathan has always been heavily involved in all aspects of real estate. While many know Jonathan as an independent real estate agent, few realize that he has architectural, construction and planning knowledge, that he has worked directly in Community Management services for large Resorts and Communities and has a strong passion for local History and Geography, enabling him to locate and source the right property and area for each client’s needs.

Along with a successful team of collaborators and affiliates Jonathan has created www.jonathanhirstlavid.com a full service that provides both buyers and sellers with a reliable and exclusive level of customer service, making the property viewing experience and the real estate transaction process as seamless and efficient as possible. Jonathan’s 20 years of connections and knowledge gives he’s client’s immediate access to any available property, and exclusive conditions for he´s clients at the time of reserving and purchasing a property through him.

Personal Life

A resident of Orihuela City since 2006, Jonathan arrived in Torrevieja as a child in 1983 with he’s Grandparents after they retired and re-located there. In 1987 Jonathan returned to live in the U.K, (Huddersfield) with he’s parents and studied at Saint Josephs Primary School and went on to All Saints and St. James High School completing he’s A levels.

Although Jonathan had returned to live in Huddersfield, he’s parents had decided that he would spend every school holiday in Spain (Torrevieja) with he’s grandparents who missed him a great deal.

Following the family tradition, Jonathan started working for the Royal Mail until he made the decision to return to Spain in 1997 and live with he’s Grandmother, who had recently widowed and was living on her own.

Once back in Torrevieja Jonathan purchased he’s first property and began to work in real estate and has recently celebrated 20 years in the business.

Jonathan now considers Spain home and he can’t imagine living anywhere else.

Jonathan is an active volunteer at Asoka Animal Rescue Centre in Orihuela, FEMEC Valencia, climbing and Mountaineering Federation, promoting growth and protection of our local Mountains and Environment a member of he’s local mountain club and an Active supporter for the Red Cross, among others.
